h&m goes upcycled

Just read some amazing news! H&M has decided to upcycle Lanvin leftovers into new “waste” collection! I thought they were doing fine with the Garden Collection, but this is even better! It’s very exclusive: only one store per country sells the ten piece collection designed by Ann-Sofie Johansson (H&M’s design chief). But don’t worry: it’s also on sale online from early March…

big party with little green dress!

Pushing, looking, undressing in front of everybody; I’ve seen it all at the ‘Ruil Extravaganza’ edition V. Yesterday fashionables and vintagistas gathered at the Hub Shop in the centre of Rotterdam to shop in each others closets. The minimum of three items of clothes was more than generously surpassed and 19 bags were donated to KICI. Thanks to Miss Little Green Dress herself, Maartje Maas, the tea provided by Inti Zen and delicious Just Nuts and the volunteers (plus stylist Marjolein Bos and restylers Irene Diks and sister) the party was more than successful. And to make it even better, there was a nice goodie bag for everyone! Next party will be in Utrecht and a special children’s edition is also on its way. And today this party was featured at newspaper Metro.
